Cão 'mais feio do mundo' morre nos EUA

O crestado chinês Gus, que em junho foi eleito "o cão mais feio do mundo", morreu na Flórida por complicações causadas por um câncer de pele, informou nesta segunda (10) o jornal "The St. Petersburg Times".Gus, que tinha 9 anos de idade, sofria de câncer de pele e vivia na cidade de Tampa. Ele tinha apenas um olho e três pernas - havia perdido um olho em uma briga, e teve uma perna amputada em decorrência de um tumor. Em junho, ele foi eleito "o cão mais feio do mundo" de 2008 em uma competição em Petaluma (Califórnia, EUA). Com o prêmio de US$1.600, seus donos pretendiam investir no tratamento de quimioterapia para o animal.
"Nós viemos de tão longe e estamos tão felizes que poderemos investir a vitória na radioterapia de Gus. Nós estamos extasiados", disse a dona de Gus, Jeanenne Teed, depois da vitória. O cão havia sido adotado pela família Teed há oito anos.

We are a part ofPetclube Camp  Frenchies in São Paulo Brasil.Our lilac, black and tan, blue and tan, sable, lilac and blue french bulldog bloodlines are predominantly Hungarian, Russian and USA.
