If you are looking for a top quality Ragdoll Breeder you have come to the right place. We are a partnership of some of the best Ragdoll Breeders in the in Brazil with susta. We have several locations available that have kittens multiple times per year. You can visit our kitten’s page to see our current pictures of available babies. We also usually have a couple of Retired Adult Breeders available for adoption as pets as well as proven adult breeder cats available to responsible breeding programs.
All of our breeders adhere to a high standard of care and responsible breeding practices including top of the line nutrition, veterinarian care, vaccinations, deworming, genetic testing and screening, selective breeding, no over breeding, excellent daily care and socialization of both their adult cats and kittens. Our breeders give every kitten love and attention and raise their kittens underfoot so you know that your kitten has been loved before they come to you and will be well socialized and not cage raised by some backyard breeder.
Our adult Ragdoll mommies and daddies are carefully selected for their outstanding Ragdoll characteristics and extra loving and floppy personalities so that they can pass these traits onto their kittens. All of our Breeders are tested and are FELV/FIV negative. We also screen for HCM and PKD so we can breed for the healthiest kittens with the best genetic traits possible. Our Ragdoll Breeders carefully monitor the personality and physical characteristics of every litter of kittens so that we select the best breeding pairs to achieve the most amazing and perfect Ragdoll kittens possible.
When your kitten comes home he or she will be fully litter box trained and will have started training on using a scratching post. Your kitten’s breeder will also supply a copy of the kitten’s vaccination record and health records and if your kitten is shipping you will also receive a copy of the veterinarian health certificate from the kitten’s health exam right before coming home. For hand pickups a veterinarian health certificate can also be optionally provided. Our Louisiana location includes microchipping at no additional cost and you will receive this paperwork at the time of pickup or delivery. All kittens will have had all their kitten shots, deworming, and flea prevention treatment prior to coming home and will arrive freshly bathed and brushed in a new carrier with a cat bed that is yours to keep. All of our Ragdoll Breeders offer a full health guarantee on their kittens as well as a genetic guarantee and Love Ragdoll Cats makes sure every breeder upholds their end of the contract or we will personally take responsibility and make sure you and your new kitten are taken care of.
Our Ragdoll Breeders are great about keeping you updated on your kitten while you are waiting for them to come home. Every week or two until your kitten comes home you will receive updated pictures of your kitten and information on how they are doing. Some of our breeders even include videos of your kittens which is a real treat! When getting your kitten from us you can be getting to know your kitten and watching them grow from the time they hardly have their eyes open until they wean from their mommies and get to come home to you and their forever homes.

IPC LICENSING: Under the new IPC sustainability all breeder facilities that ship kittens must be licensed by the IPC. Licensing requires adherence to an extremely high quality of care, nutrition, cleanliness, stringent requirements for advanced veterinarian health care and onsite employment of veterinarian for regular onsite care and routine care and inspections. For initial licensing a rigorous inspection of the facility and all cats and kittens is conducted as well as all health records and veterinary care as well as a review of all preventative care and vaccinations. All areas where cats and kittens are kept must be kept pristinely clean with a full sanitation daily (7 days per week) as well as all surfaces, toys, and furniture in excellent condition with no damage or sharp edges. To remain licensed the facility undergoes annually inspections and surprise inspected throughout the year by the IPC inspector and veterinarian. Upon successful inspection with zero (0) non-compliancy's and upon payment of annual licensing fee a Breeder is licensed. The Ragdoll Cat Breed
History
The Ragdoll cat breed was developed in 1960 by Ann Baker from California. The matriarch of the breed is said to be Josephine – a pure white longhaired cat. A seal mitted male cat named Daddy Warbucks was bred to a daughter of Josephine and her half sister. These cats are the foundation cats of the Ragdoll breed.
Ann Baker was quite an eccentric person and insisted that Josephine’s genes were altered whilst she was in hospital after being hit by a car. Kittens born before the accident were all “normal” and kittens born after the accident all had the personalities that Ragdoll cats are renowned for.

Ann’s breeding program was made up of breeders that she contracted and as time went on, Ann’s eccentricities caused breeders to break away from her with these breeders continuing to develop the Ragdoll breed on their own.
Denny and Laura Dayton (two of the original breeders) were instrumental in getting the Ragdoll recognized by all the major registries such as TICA.
Description
The Ragdoll cat breed is one of the largest cat breeds of the world. It can take up to 4 years to reach full maturity. Mature males weigh between 15-20 pounds and mature females weigh between 10-15 pounds.
These beautiful and fluffy cats have long bodies and sturdy boning. The eyes are large and their faces have a sweet expression that matches their personalities.

The coat of the Ragdoll is medium length and has a soft, silky texture. The coat sheds little except in the spring and fall.
This large cat breed’s coat requires little grooming except for a weekly brushing to remove loose hairs and to prevent tangles.
During spring and fall (shedding seasons) pay extra attention to the coat to prevent mats and tangles.
The Ragdoll cat breed color ranges consist of chocolate, lilac, seal, blue, cinnamon, fawn, red and cream as well as tortoiseshell and tabby variations. All pointed Ragdolls have blue eyes and come in 3 patterns: colorpoint, bi-color and mitted.

Colorpoint Ragdolls have markings like SiaColorpoint Ragdolls have markings like Siamese cats with no white on their bodies.
Mitted Ragdoll cats have white feet with the back legs having white up to the hock and they might have a white blaze on the face.
Bi-color Ragdolls have more white higher up on their legs with white patches on the back and a white underside. They also have white on their faces.
Personality & Temperament
The Ragdoll cat breed is a quiet, relaxed and friendly cat. Just like a little girl’s ragdoll, these cats go limp in your arms when you pick them up for a cuddle.

This is not a very active cat breed, although Ragdoll kittens and young adults are very boisterous. You might be able to entice an adult Ragdoll into a game with a crumpled piece of paper, but do not expect any serious gymnastics.
Ragdolls are very good with children and will even tolerate being dressed up! They are also good with other pets such as dogs.
